Javier Ameijeiras is an illustrator and Academy member who has contributed to various major motion pictures, including Aladdin (2019), Beauty and the Beast (2017), The Intern (2015), The Great Gatsby (2013), and Moonrise Kingdom (2012). Exclusively for the Academy Museum Store, he has designed a sketch of the museum façade.
"As a veteran illustrator in the film business, I leveraged the diversity of my experience to create a collection of varied illustrations. For many of my illustrations I was inspired by the architectural beauty of the museum itself and tackled the project with a minimalist approach.
