Our signature pattern offers mid-profile architecture in line with the fit of vintage caps. We line the interior with 100% cotton khaki finishes along with salt and pepper buckram that matches. Our flat bill visor has a tonal wool undervisor that matches the color of the cap. Plastic snapback closures provide flexibility in size and fit.
Our carefully sourced Australian Merino Wool adorns our signature mid profile fit and is the finest wool in the world. The smooth yet dense woolen yarns obtain their handfeel through a 2x2 process, where two yarns are twisted into one. This unique action upholds the softness of the wool while strengthening it to face the manufacturing process. The rotated yarns are then woven and dyed into a breathable, vibrant color palette. The tinted woven wool is then scoured, eliminating any imperfections while intensifying the color vibrancy. The result is an unmatched softness, breathability and color vitality, all which make it destined to be a HOOD hat.
THE STORY
John Singleton’s 1991 cinematic masterpiece Boyz n the Hood outlines the life and times in South Central Los Angeles, teaching us never to respect anyone who doesn't respect you back. The Los Angeles South Central district sits directly below DTLA and represents several neighborhoods. The University of Southern California presides within the borough in the neighborhood of University Park. The private university is home to the Trojan Football team who have recorded 11 National Titles.

Oversized and odd sized items such as furniture and posters may incur additional shipping charges. For orders shipped within the contiguous 48 US States, shipping transit time is 3–7 business days.
International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the destination This includes Guam, American Samoa, and Outside US Territories. Oversized and odd sized items such as furniture and posters may incur additional shipping charges. International delivery time is 5–20 business days (not including time for customs and other import inspections). Shipping costs do not include taxes and import duties. The recipient is responsible to pay all taxes and duties upon receipt of their order directly to the postal carrier or to their local government agency. Unfortunately we do not offer free international shipping.

Refunds will be returned back to the original form of payment and may take up to 7 days to process. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
If you are in the Los Angeles area, online orders can be easily returned in-person at the store. Please bring with you the original order invoice that was included with your shipment. Don't worry, general admission tickets are not required to visit the Academy Museum Store!
